Google is recruiting a Customer Engineer for the Public Sector in Northern CA. Based in Sacramento, you will partner with technical Sales to differentiate Google Cloud for state and local government customers, designing agentic AI solutions and advanced data ecosystems for public institutions.

As a Customer Engineer, you will partner with technical Sales teams to differentiate Google Cloud and our unique Google Public Sector offerings for our state and local government customers throughout the northwestern US. You will empower universities and colleges to harness the full potential of the Google ecosystem by designing creative, agentic AI solutions that solve complex institutional challenges.
Moving beyond traditional data lifecycles, you will lead cutting-edge proofs of concept and guide technical strategy to build proactive, autonomous AI agents and intelligent data ecosystems that transform the student, researcher, and administrative experience. Leveraging your technical expertise and compelling presentation skills, you will engage with government leaders to translate their academic requirements into visionary, highly automated, and practical architectures tailored for the public sector. Bringing excellent technical, communication, and organizational skills, you will join a team of fellow Googlers dedicated to mutual respect and equal opportunities for success.
