Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing or support role.
  • Experience in designing, developing, and deploying solutions that leverage or integrate generative AI.
  • Experience in, or supporting the National Security customers.
  • Experience in programming languages, debugging, systems design, prototyping, demos, or customer workshops.
  • Active US Government TS/SCI security clearance with Polygraph.

  • Collaborate with the team to identify and qualify business opportunities and develop strategies to resolve technical blockers.
  • Share enterprise infrastructure modernization expertise to support the technical relationship with customers, including bid responses and proofs-of-concept.
  • Leverage Google Cloud products to demonstrate and prototype integrations in customer and partner environments.
  • Guide customers through assessments of legacy environments and provide a modernization roadmap.
  • Recommend integration strategies and architectures to implement solutions on Google Cloud.

Minimum qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing or support role.
  • Experience in designing, developing, and deploying solutions that leverage or integrate generative AI.
  • Experience in, or supporting the National Security customers.
  • Experience in programming languages, debugging, systems design, prototyping, demos, or customer workshops.
  • Active US Government Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (TS/SCI) security clearance with Polygraph.
Preferred qualifications
  • Experience selling technical solutions in one or more of the following: Infrastructure Modernization, Application Modernization, Data Management, Data Analytics, Cloud AI, Networking, Migrations, Security.
  • Experience managing the entire business cycle (e.g., defining the delivery and consumption plan and transitioning it for execution).
  • Experience building long-term technical strategies to uncover new workloads with customers.
  • Experience with security concepts (e.g., encryption, identity management, access control, attack vectors, and penetration testing).
  • Experience prospecting, and building and maintaining customer relationships from scratch, with excitement for building Greenfield territories in government accounts.

As an AI Specialist Customer Engineer in the federal public sector space, you will partner with technical Sales teams to differentiate Google Cloud to customers. You will help prospective and existing customers and partners understand the power of Google Cloud, develop creative cloud solutions and architectures to solve their business challenges, engage in proofs-of-concepts, and troubleshoot any technical questions and roadblocks. You will use your expertise and presentation skills to engage with customers to understand their business and technical requirements, and persuasively present practical and useful solutions on Google Cloud.

In this role, you will be a generative AI expert, working internally with Google teams and externally with customers on how position, provide, and produce Google's foundational AI/ML capabilities into air-gapped environments. Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $152000 - $221000 (USD) + 42.86% bonus target + equity + benefits

  • Collaborate with the team to identify and qualify business opportunities, understand key customer technical objections, and develop the strategy to resolve technical blockers.
  • Share in-depth enterprise infrastructure modernization expertise to support the technical relationship with customers, including technology advocacy, supporting bid responses, product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept work, and partnering directly with product management to prioritize solutions impacting customer adoption to Google Cloud.
  • Leverage Google Cloud products directly to demonstrate and prototype integrations in customer and partner environments.
  • Guide customers through assessments of existing legacy application environments and provide recommendations on a prioritization roadmap for infrastructure and application modernization.
  • Recommend integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure required to successfully implement a complete solution on Google Cloud.
