  • Assist in the evolution of new training practices and solutions to ensure customer success.
  • Serve as a key training resource for internal MiniSoft colleagues.

Job Description: Customer Education Specialist

Location: Remote (home office, with travel as needed)

Reports to: Director of Customer Success

Works closely with: Product, Customer Success/Services, Support Company & Market Context

Role Summary

The Training Department plays a crucial role in connecting our customers to our software. We are looking for an organized, flexible, and experienced Software Trainer to join our company. In this role, you will execute training plans, develop training materials, and schedule classes with our various firms to provide software instruction to their employees. You will review results and trainee feedback to provide solutions that improve materials and classes, as well as identify and assist in the development of additional training and software improvement opportunities. This position requires excellent presentation and communication skills, as you will be meeting with management personnel and software users to understand the needs of each organization and tailor the agenda accordingly. When not physically at a customer site, you will provide online training, support our current customer base, prepare for future trips, and conduct follow-ups with recently installed customers from your home office.

Working Conditions

MiniSoft is a remote company. The Training Specialist will work from a home office providing web-based training. This position is a traveling role under normal conditions; however, the role will initially remain remote while your skills and knowledge are assessed. As your comfort level grows, so too will travel opportunities. During peak periods, this role may occasionally require up to 80% travel.
