Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred or equivalent
• Ability to read plan-o-gram and follow merchandise presentation guidance
• Basic cash handling procedures and math skills
• Experience with IBM cash register functions is a plus

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and stock merchandise in stock room or on sales floor
• Build and rotate merchandise displays and restock merchandise
• Assist customers in locating items and provide friendly service
• Greet customers and operate cash register to total purchases
• Collect payment and make change; bag merchandise
• Assist with ordering merchandise using hand-held scanners when needed
• Maintain store cleanliness including front end, restrooms and stockroom
• Comply with company policies and procedures and protect assets
