Dollar General Corporation is hiring a store associate to be the point of contact for customers, stock merchandise, maintain plan-o-grams, and support displays. You will greet shoppers, assist with locating items, and operate the cash register to complete sales.

Responsibilities include unloading trucks, stocking, cleaning, and upholding company policies while contributing to a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. High school diploma preferred; training provided.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and oral communication.
• Understanding of safety policies and practices.
• Ability to read and follow plan-o-grams and merchandise presentation guidance.
• Knowledge of basic cash handling procedures.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Ability to perform IBM cash register functions.

Responsabilités

• Unload trucks and stock merchandise.
• Follow procedures to receive, open and unpack cartons; stock on shelves or on the sales floor.
• Build and maintain merchandise displays and rotate stock.
• Assist customers by locating items and answering questions.
• Operate the cash register, total purchases and bag merchandise; handle payments.
• Keep store clean, front-end organized, and comply with policies.
