Job summary

Dollar General Corporation is seeking a Sales Associate to serve as a point of contact for customers, help them locate and purchase merchandise, operate the cash register, stock shelves, and maintain store cleanliness to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.

The role involves greeting customers, processing transactions, following planograms, stocking merchandise, and ensuring safety and accurate cash handling.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service, greet and assist customers.
• Operate cash register and scanner to itemize and total customer's purchase, collect payment from customers and make change, bag merchandise, and assist customers with merchandise as necessary.
• Unpack and stock merchandise.
• Rotate merchandise and build displays.
• Clean the store, take out trash, mop floors, clean restrooms and receiving room, and set up sidewalk displays.
