Job summary

Binny's is hiring a part-time Sales Associate to assist in developing sales, maintain productivity and provide superior customer service while ensuring store safety and cleanliness. You will follow age verification, handle cash, stock shelves, build displays, operate scanners, and learn product knowledge to help customers.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Able to work evenings, weekends and holidays as scheduled.
• Able to count cash and make change.
• Able to operate business machines (scanners, keyboards, etc.).
• Able to pass alcohol training and maintain certification.
• Able to repeatedly lift 40-50 pounds.
• Able to communicate effectively with customers and managers.
• Able to follow directions and complete assignments.
• Able to write legibly.
• Able to read small type.
• Able to stand/walk for extended periods.
• Able to walk up and down stairs.
• Able to work in cold areas.
• Able to work hours as scheduled.
• Consistent and regular attendance.

Responsibilities

• Follow proper age verification policies.
• Provide friendly customer service.
• Perform cash register operations and maintain checkout areas.
• Perform stocking, display-building and porter duties.
• Follow injury prevention, safety training and security procedures.
• Follow shipping and receiving procedures.
• Develop knowledge of store products to better serve customers.
• Perform all duties as assigned by Store Management.
