Job summary

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and move merchandise to stock areas.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons; store stock in the stock room or move goods to the sales floor according to processes.
• Build and refresh merchandise displays to support sales.
• Stock, rotate, and face merchandise on shelves.
• Restock recovered or returned items to appropriate locations.
• Assist customers by helping locate merchandise.
• Bail cardboard, take out trash, and clean store areas including floors, restrooms, and stockroom.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Greet customers and respond to inquiries.
• Operate cash register and scanner to itemize and total purchases; bag merchandise.
• Process payments and provide correct change.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners when needed.
• Clean the front of the store and assist with sidewalk display setup when needed.
