Job summary

Dollar General in Denton, TX is seeking a Sales Associate to greet customers, assist with product selection, and ensure a clean, organized store. You will operate the cash register, process payments, and help stock shelves to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.

You should have a high school diploma or equivalent; strong communication and safety awareness are valued. This is a fast-paced role requiring frequent standing, walking, and lifting up to 40 pounds; prior retail experience

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service, greet and assist customers.
Operate cash register and scanner to itemize and total customer’s purchase, collect payment from customers and make change, bag merchandise, and assist customers with merchandise as necessary.
Follow company merchandise processes; unpack, stock, restock, and rotate merchandise on shelves and build merchandise displays.
Clean the store, take out trash, dust and mop store floors, clean restroom and receiving room, and help set up sidewalk displays.
