Job summary

Dollar General is hiring for a Store Associate to act as the point of contact for customers, stock and stockroom duties, and assist on the sales floor. The role supports profitability and customer satisfaction while protecting company assets.

Responsibilities include unloading trucks, stocking, building displays, assisting customers, operating the point-of-sale system, and basic merchandise ordering with handheld scanners.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and stock merchandise on shelves.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons; store merchandise or move to sales floor.
• Build and stock merchandise displays; rotate and face products.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise and operate checkout.
• Collect payment and provide change; bag items.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners.
• Clean store areas and maintain front end displays.
