Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a store associate to welcome customers, maintain plan-o-grams, stock merchandise, and support daily store operations. You will assist customers, operate the cash register, and help ensure accurate pricing and merchandise presentation on the floor.

Ideal candidates have a High school diploma or equivalent, strong interpersonal skills, basic math, and the ability to follow safety policies. This role requires standing and lifting up to 40 pounds in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons; stock merchandise in stock room or on the sales floor.
• Build merchandise displays and stock/rotate/face items on shelves.
• Restock recovered merchandise and assist customers in locating merchandise.
• Operate cash register and bag purchases; collect payment and make change.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners; maintain store cleanliness and set up displays.
