Job summary

Ace Hardware Daytona Beach is seeking a full-time Sales Associate to help receive, stock, price merchandise and maintain a clean, organized store environment.

You will assist customers with expert product knowledge, work at the register when needed, and provide proactive, friendly service to ensure a top-notch shopping experience for every guest.

Education requires a High School diploma or GED; hardware/home improvement experience is preferred, making you an ideal teammate for our community store.

Qualifications

• High School or GED equivalent.
• Hardware and/or Home improvement experience required.
• Prior experience working in a hardware store is a huge plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide a positive representation of Ace Hardware Daytona Beach.
• Proactively assist customers in solving problems.
• Greet customers entering and throughout the store and thank them at checkout.
• Possess a friendly outgoing demeanor and work well with customers and associates.
• Assist with receiving, stocking, back stock levels, and maintaining a clean sales floor and stock room.
• Be able to work at the register and operate it when needed.
• Ensure signage is current throughout the store and assist with price changes and special orders.
