Job summary

The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill is seeking a friendly Cashier to greet guests, process orders and handle payments accurately. You will guide customers through the menu, maintain cleanliness, answer phones for take-out orders, and support opening/closing duties as needed.

Successful candidates are reliable, able to work under pressure in a fast-paced setting, and committed to delivering excellent guest experiences. Flexible scheduling and team-friendly environment offered.

Qualifications

• Greets all guests
• Accurate cash handling and credit card procedures
• Accurate order taking, includes repeating order to customer at time of order and delivery of food
• Setting up or closing down the dining room, restrooms, and patios
• Answering the phones using script requirements and taking call-in orders
• Directing customers inside the restaurant
• Helping pre-bus and cleaning the dining room during service while not on the register
• Maintaining a clean and sanitary work area per city health codes
• Assist with opening and closing duties and re-stocking
• Smile, be friendly, and polite
• Assist expo whenever possible
• Explain the menu and suggestively sell to all customers

Responsibilities

• Handle transactions accurately and greet guests in a friendly manner.
• Ring up orders and guide guests through the menu efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas and restrooms.
• Assist with opening/closing duties and restocking as needed.
