Customer Development Manager, Dietary Supplements

US Based (Remote)

The Customer Development Manager, Dietary Supplements will identify and develop growth opportunities in new and existing channels in alignment with the regional strategy. This role involves actively investigating and understanding market dynamics, including consumer needs and trends, customer brand strategy, and helping to achieve new business growth across diverse customer segments.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Drive go-to-market plans targeting agile dietary supplement brands.
  2. Build an opportunity pipeline to meet business goals.
  3. Utilize business acumen and financial skills to evaluate decisions regarding business case development, prioritization, and resource investments.
  4. Guide evaluation and expansion into new customer and business segments (customer, ingredients, forms, health benefit platforms).
  5. Collaborate with Account Managers to execute the launch phase of projects.
  6. Identify key stakeholders within customer organizations to build and foster strong relationships leading to mutually beneficial partnerships.

You Bring:

  • BS/BA in science, technology, or a business-related field; MBA is a plus.
  • Proven success in business development within the Dietary Supplement category.
  • At least 5 years of experience in B2B marketing/business development, preferably in science-based healthcare organizations (e.g., consumer health, supplements).
  • Experience with direct-to-consumer CPG, nutrition, or wellness brands is a plus.
  • Knowledge of the dietary supplement industry is preferred.
  • Strong business acumen and financial skills to evaluate business cases and prioritize investments.
  • Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Ability to take initiative and operate independently within guidelines.
  • High conceptual and analytical skills.
  • International experience is a plus.
