Meet the Team

Join our Cisco CX Observability Architectures team to help our customers realize the full potential of their investment in the Cisco Splunk Observability portfolio. We offer exposure to a wide range of technologies in this space, with a focus on continuous learning. Join us to enhance our service delivery outcomes in the dynamic observability domain.

Your Impact:

1. Shape customer expectations and align outcomes with their requirements, focusing on business value.
2. Participate in all project phases from strategy discussions to delivery, including requirements gathering, design, and implementation.
3. Collaborate with client and internal Project Managers to ensure project scope, schedule, resources, and estimates are aligned for success.
4. Configure the Cisco Splunk Observability product suite to meet customer needs.
5. Conduct workshops to gather business and technical requirements, current and future states, and develop a global architecture and implementation plan.
6. Define a global architecture that aligns with the desired state, including business, application, data, technical, integration, and security aspects.
7. Oversee key milestones and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
8. Provide technical leadership, make key decisions on solutions, product integrations, and upgrades.
9. Manage risks and ensure operational governance to deliver desired outcomes.
10. Build and leverage relationships within client organizations and internally to ensure success.
11. Develop technical champions within project teams and mentor client team members in their areas of expertise.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in CS or a relevant technical field, or 3-5 years of related Observability experience.
2. Experience leading project implementation teams at large enterprise clients.
3. Proactive self-starter demonstrating initiative and leadership.
4. Strong communication skills to manage stakeholder expectations.
5. Interpersonal skills to interface effectively at all organizational levels.
6. Ability to translate client requirements and product gaps into R&D efforts.
7. Experience deploying observability solutions in on-premise and cloud environments within large, complex enterprises.
8. Configuration experience with Windows and Linux (bash, shell).
9. Experience defining metrics, thresholds, and reporting baselines.
10. Strong skills in analysis, design, and technical documentation.
11. Familiarity with Splunk, AppDynamics, or other cloud monitoring tools, including APM, Infrastructure, Logs, Synthetics, and RUM.
12. Certifications or equivalent experience with cloud-native technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, GKS, OpenShift, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience deploying and visualizing OpenTelemetry pipelines.
2. Previous experience in observability services delivery.
3. Additional certifications or experience with cloud-native technologies.
4. Configuration experience with system API administration/management.
