Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a cashier to provide a fast, friendly checkout experience and help customers get the best value for their money in a busy store setting.

You will handle payments, assist in self-checkout, and maintain a clean workstation while supporting more than one department as needed; part-time position with growth opportunities. Employees receive benefits and discounts where eligible.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing, and basic arithmetic skills.
• Ability to stand/sit for prolonged periods.
• Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
• Lift up to 75 pounds with team lifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a fast, friendly, and professional checkout experience.
• Proactively assist customers at self-checkout.
• Scan and bag items accurately and efficiently.
• Manage a cash register, payments, and exchanges.
• Answer customer questions.
• Help maintain a clean, safe workstation.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
