Job summary

Batteries Plus is seeking a customer-focused team member for in-store sales, battery and lighting product guidance, and hands-on tech tasks. You will engage customers, identify needs, and drive add-on sales while maintaining store standards.

Responsibilities include POS transactions, inventory upkeep, display setup, and routine store opening/closing activities. Prior retail experience is helpful; a valid driver’s license and ability to lift 50+ lbs are required.

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma/equivalent with at least 6 months of experience
• Retail experience preferred but not required
• Strong customer-service and communication skills
• Ability to learn products and processes quickly

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, determine needs, and answer questions.
• Suggest add-ons and assist in retail and commercial sales to meet goals.
• Operate POS to complete sales transactions and handle payments.
• Answer phones and relay messages accurately.
• Maintain store appearance, inventory, and pricing.
• Develop product knowledge and safety standards.
• Load/unload deliveries and stock shelves/display units.
• Prepare store for daily opening and closing.
