Job summary

CHS, Inc. in Brookings, SD is seeking a full-time Store Clerk for store 63 to provide excellent customer service and operate the checkout with accuracy. You will assist customers, stock shelves and maintain a clean, organized store environment.

The role includes responsibilities such as displaying products, checking out items, monitoring inventory and supporting promotions, while upholding safety policies in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in Retail and/or Retail Merchandising and Customer Service.
• Proficient in MS Office suite and basic computer skills.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English to customers and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service; greet customers promptly and courteously.
• Perform cashier responsibilities including accepting payments and issuing receipts.
• Display and organize products in the store for customers to locate easily.
• Maintain the appearance of the store through dusting, cleaning and restocking merchandise.
• Order merchandise and track inventory as assigned.
• Monitor customers to assist the store in loss prevention.
• Assist with preparation of displays and promotions.
• Follow safety policies and wear required PPE; identify hazards and seek correction.
