The Kroger Family of Companies is seeking a part-time cashier/c checker at our McFarland, WI location. You will greet customers, process transactions and provide friendly service in a fast-paced store environment.

You will work with the POS system, handle multiple tender types and follow company policies. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and customer satisfaction while complying with local regulations.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic math.
• Prior experience as a Bagger or Courtesy Clerk is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet, engage and assist customers in the check lane.
• Process transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently.
• Understand POS system and handle cash, checks, and card payments per policy.
• Adhere to cash handling limits and loss prevention guidelines.
• Comply with guidelines for restricted sale items (Alcohol, Tobacco, DVDs).
• Report pricing discrepancies and follow store procedures for stamps, gift cards and coupons.
