Job summary

Central Network Retail Group, LLC (CNRG) is seeking a front-line cashier to support store operations in Vidalia, LA. You will handle cash and POS transactions, greet customers, verify prices, and process returns while maintaining product knowledge and a positive attitude.

The role requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. You'll help keep the store organized, count tenders, prepare deposits, and collaborate with team members to deliver excellent service and protect company

Qualifications

• Strong communication, organizational, teamwork, and multitasking skills.
• Must be able to accurately handle cash, maintain product knowledge, and assist customers effectively.
• Physical requirements include climbing ladders, reaching, bending, kneeling, lifting up to 50 lbs., handling large or odd-shaped items, and stocking overhead areas.
• Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Accurately processing customer transactions in an orderly, timely, and friendly manner.
• Greeting customers as they enter and exit the store, creating a lasting impression of friendliness.
• Verifying merchandise quantities, descriptions, and prices to ensure accuracy.
• Handling returns/exchanges and sales of merchandise.
• Answer incoming phone calls in a prompt, efficient and courteous manner.
• Receiving payment on commercial accounts and aiding in credit applications.
• Completing and filing due tickets for customers needing a later pick-up.
• Completing and filing rain checks for out of stock items.
• Preparing deposits and organizing the drawer for the following day.
• Directing customers to items in the store and calling team members for assistance.
• Maintaining cash controls to protect company assets.
• Keeping the store area clean and orderly.
