Job summary

Rebel Convenience Stores in New York is seeking a friendly, reliable Customer Service Associate to join our fast-paced team as a cashier. You will be the face of the store, delivering fast, friendly service and maintaining a clean, organized environment.

You will ring up sales with a modern POS, handle cash and transactions, and assist customers with promotions, car wash, and other services. The role requires 18+ and a High School diploma or GED is preferred.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work alone or with minimal supervision.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service.
• Ring up sales using our POS system, including lottery, fuel, and prepaid cards.
• Upsell promotions and help customers find what they need.
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment (inside and out).
• Operate and maintain food and beverage machines (coffee, fountain drinks, hot food).
• Restock and rotate merchandise using FIFO method.
• Follow safety and loss prevention procedures.
• Assist customers with pump, car wash, or air hose as needed.
• Handle cash, credit cards, and safe deposits accurately.
• Follow all age-restricted sale laws (alcohol, tobacco, lottery).
• Complete all required training and shift duties.
• Must be 18 years or older.
