Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking an entry-level team member at our Michigan store. This role offers exposure to a variety of retail tasks, from customer service to store operations, with opportunities to learn and grow within the Meijer family.

As a Courtesy Team Member, you will interact with customers, support service desks, and assist multiple departments to ensure a clean, welcoming store environment. Weekly pay, scheduling flexibility, and development programs support your career growth.

Qualifications

• Highly-organized with a keen sense for details.
• Great listening and communication skills.
• Ability to lift, carry, pushing, pulling, bending and twisting while handling product or using equipment.
• Ability to shine in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Cart attendants ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Coordinating and collecting of the parking lot, lawn, and inside store trash.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for properly removing snow.
• Perishable and salvage returns.
• Basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Working with our service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Working with departments across Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
