We are hiring ambitious, motivated Customer Service Professionals to work virtually (work from home). This role requires that qualified candidates must reside in one of the following states:

Role purpose

This role is designed for people with strong empathy and communication skills. Days are spent interacting with people over the phone to help with questions about healthcare benefits, 401k savings and retirement plans, leaves of absence, and payroll. It is ideal for individuals who can master complex information quickly, are passionate about helping others, and enjoy solving problems.

Role progression

The CCR I role is a learning/development position within the CCR career path. CCR I’s receive training in a domain area (pension, 401(k), health, HR plans, etc.), tool usage, customer interaction management, and client-specific training. After beginning to handle customer interactions, CCR I employees are expected to develop skills and advance to CCR II, typically within the first 15 months of their role.

Typical day
  • Handle a high volume of inbound calls to answer questions, educate, and resolve complex HR and financial issues related to health care benefits, 401(k), leaves, payroll, etc.
  • Process transactions such as health enrollments, tax and direct deposit updates, 401(k) withdrawals/contributions, and retirement elections.
  • Initiate outbound calls to update customers on pending cases or topics.
  • Navigate multiple systems and tools to provide answers and support during live interactions.
  • Coordinate with third parties to research and assist with updates or inquiries.
Required Experience
  • At least 4 years of customer service experience, or a combination of education and experience: High School diploma with 4 years of customer service experience, OR Associate’s degree with 2 years of experience, OR Bachelor’s degree.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and a passion for delivering high-quality customer care.
  • Adaptability and dependability in a fast-paced environment; ability to apply feedback quickly.
  • Ability to multi-task across several Windows applications while assisting customers by phone.
  • Flexibility to work a specified shift and extended hours as necessary.

Preferred Experience
  • Experience in Health Care, Human Resources Services, or Financial Services is preferred.
