The Position

If you enjoy solving problems and helping others, this role might be perfect for you. As a crucial part of Farmers Insurance, you'll support customers and agents by addressing inquiries related to coverage, rates, billing, and policy reviews.

We provide paid training through our University of Farmers to ensure your success in this role.

Responsibilities
  1. Deliver exceptional customer service and seek solutions within compliance and legal standards.
  2. Communicate via phone, chat, and email across multiple systems.
  3. Resolve issues during the first contact to achieve First Call Resolution (FCR).
Daily Tasks
  1. Respond to insurance inquiries, interpret policy information, and resolve issues within authority limits.
  2. Utilize multiple systems to access and document customer interactions thoroughly.
  3. Escalate complex issues requiring advanced support.
  4. Stay informed about policies, compliance, and legal updates through self-learning.
  5. Identify trends and suggest process improvements.
  6. Collaborate with departments and external vendors as needed.
  7. Follow scheduled routines and procedures for time management.
Details
  • Start Date: June 17, 2025, or July 15, 2025 (for licensed hires)
  • Location: Fully remote in AZ, CO, ID, MT, NM, OR, UT, WY. Must have a quiet workspace and high-speed internet.
  • Training: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM MST / 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM PST for 8-10 weeks via University of Farmers.
Compensation
  • $22.31 to $23.74/hour depending on location.
  • Performance bonuses up to 10%.
  • Benefits include 401(K), PTO, Tuition Reimbursement, Paid Training, and more.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; property and casualty license required, obtained within designated testing windows.
  • 1-3 years customer service experience; call center experience preferred.
  • Strong technical skills, troubleshooting, and familiarity with Microsoft Office preferred.
Physical & Environment

This role involves working in a typical office environment, with physical activities like sitting, standing, lifting up to 10 pounds, and operating a computer for extended periods.
