Join to apply for the Customer Care Rep (Remote) role at Patterson Companies, Inc.

Job Summary

The Customer Care Representative will be a member of the team responsible for being the primary contact for incoming customer and branch calls. This role requires frequent communication with customers, branch personnel, and Shared Services team members. You will assist customers or branches with their requests if able, or transfer calls within Shared Services for assistance. The position involves working frequently within SAP; previous experience is helpful. Success depends on a “customer first” attitude, willingness to learn new functions, and contributing positively to team performance.

Essential Functions

  1. Provide professional administrative and telephone support for incoming customer and branch calls, aiming for first call resolution.
  2. Handle general questions regarding statements or correspondence related to supply accounts, installment accounts, and branch inquiries.
  3. Update the automated credit card system for account changes accurately, complying with internal & PCI controls.
  4. Process customer credit card or electronic check payments by phone accurately, complying with internal & PCI controls.
  5. Act as liaison between branch offices and the Financial Shared Services.
  6. Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • High School degree or equivalent
  • Strong customer orientation with excellent telephone etiquette and a friendly attitude
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships
  • Positive contribution to the team environment
  • Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skills, with great attention to detail
  • Proficiency in computer navigation and multitasking with various software programs
  • Demonstrates professionalism and aligns with Patterson’s values

Preferred Qualifications

  • SAP experience
  • Financial Services experience

Hours: 10:00am - 7:00pm CT

Starting compensation: $15.19/hr

This role is eligible for hire in specific states, with a potential compensation range of $15.19 - $18.65, based on location, experience, and skills.
