Job summary

Blain’s Farm & Fleet seeks a Customer Care Desk Associate to manage the store phone line, assist customers with returns and inquiries, and support in-store operations. The role includes processing orders, pickups, and maintaining a customer-focused desk environment.

The position requires strong communication, prior retail exposure, and availability for evenings and every other weekend. Background checks will be completed as part of hiring.

• Retail experience is preferred.
• Ability to work evenings when needed and at least every other weekend.
• Must be able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Operate the store phone/switchboard and assist customers with returns, questions, complaints, and directions.
• Scan returned goods and route mail/file paperwork.
• Process in-store and online orders and pickups.
• Keep the Customer Service Desk clean and presentable for customers.
• Assist in other departments as assigned and follow loss prevention policies.

Compensation

• Saturday & Sunday weekend premium pay $2.50/hr
• Base pay up to $15.00/hr

Job Duties

The Customer Care DeskAssociate would run the store phone/switchboard and assist customers with returns, questions, complaints, and directions around the store, along with other assigned duties that would ensure that the customer has an efficient, pleasant shopping experience. This can include, but is not limited to:

• Scan returned goods and place into bins/shopping carts to return the goods to the department
• Route mail/file paperwork
• Issue Hunting and Fishing licenses
• Cashier
• Manage the incoming E-commerce customer orders and In-Store Pick Ups
• Keep the Customer Service Desk clean and presentable to the customers
• Help in other departments as assigned
• Demonstrate awareness and compliance with Loss Prevention and safety policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Great communication skills
• Prior Retail experience preferred
• Able to work evenings when needed and at least every other weekend
• Able to pass a background check
