P.F. Candle Co. is hiring a part time Customer Care Associate to join our team! Customer care team members facilitate day-to-day communications and support for P.F. customers. Our customer care team acts as “the voice of P.F.”, ensuring a meaningful experience from the first impression onwards, while serving as the bridge for our external stakeholders. Our team members support organizational growth by asking big picture questions such as: how can we improve our customer-facing service and internal processes?
This position will report to the Sales Director. Must be able to work flexible hours including some weekends and have availability during our peak season at the end of the year.
POSITION: Part-Time, Hourly
START DATE: ASAP - June 2025
SALARY: $28/HR
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Customer Service
- Deliver responsive support to customers across all platforms including but not limited to: email, marketplace messaging, socials, and web reviews
- Exercise strong judgment, balancing company policies and efforts to deliver exceptional service
- Work to reduce response time while increasing customer engagement and overall customer experience
Sales & Product Expertise
- Provide expert knowledge on product line, production process, plus care and proper use suggestions
- Collaborative project management that facilitates customer engagement and supports sales goals such as new customer acquisition, return customer investments, etc
- Research industry standards and cultural patterns/trends to plan for department growth, as well as increased customer engagement and retail profitability
Operations & Logistics
- Ensure customer related issues, feedback, and data are tracked and consolidated in our CSS system, efficiently communicated to all relevant team members, and resolved in a prompt and friendly manner
- Analyze both quantitative metrics and qualitative feedback (internal and external) to support in developing department goals and measure success against defined KPI metrics
- Assist in identifying department victories and opportunities, including any big picture trends and the root of any recurring pain points
- Work cross-departmentally, as well as with external partners to implement solutions that prioritize the customer experience, P.F.’s core values, and efficiency
REQUIREMENTS:
- 1+ years minimum of relevant experience
- Experience in sales, marketing or copywriting, and inventory or warehouse management is a plus
- Ability to self-direct and determine the best course of action while working collaboratively across teams
- Familiarity with Shopify and Gorgias platforms is preferred; above average skills using Google Workspace is key
- Must display excellent communication skills, as well as an understanding of proper grammar
- This is a hybrid position, coming into our downtown Los Angeles office Tuesday through Thursday, so reliable transportation is required. This is not a remote position and our hybrid schedule is subject to change
