Job summary

Kelly Services is partnering with Blue Cross Blue Shield of South Carolina in Columbia, SC to hire a Call Center Associate. You will provide prompt, accurate responses to customer inquiries across phone, email, web, and walk-ins, documenting interactions and ensuring respectful service.

The ideal candidate has at least a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 1 year of claims processing or customer service experience, or a Bachelor’s degree in lieu of work experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, with 1+ year of claims processing or customer service, or a Bachelor’s degree in lieu of experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, strong human relations and organizational skills.
• Proficient in basic computer skills and familiarity with word processing, spreadsheets, and database software.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, accurate, courteous responses to customer inquiries across phone, email, web, and walk-ins.
• Document inquiries accurately and maintain effective customer relations by timely responses.
• Coordinate with other departments to resolve customer problems and assist with priority inquiries and special projects.
