Job summary

Yampa Valley Bank in Steamboat Springs, CO is seeking a Customer Banking Specialist to greet customers, process transactions, and support daily teller operations. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of customer service experience, basic math skills, and strong verbal and written communication.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of one year of customer service experience.
• Basic math skills required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Prior cash handling experience preferred.
• Ability to maintain customer confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an accurate and orderly cash drawer while processing transactions.
• Balance cash drawer daily and end-of-day reconciliation.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and cashier checks.
• Assist customers with online banking and bill pay questions.
• Greet customers and provide exceptional “hometown” service.
• Uphold bank policies and compliance requirements.
