Job summary

Carvana in Avon Lake, OH is seeking Customer Advocates with at least 2 years of customer-facing experience to help reintroduce happiness into the car-buying process and be the face of Carvana at our Dealership.

The role offers a starting hourly rate of $19 with growth to $21, along with a 9 am–5 pm shift on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, plus benefits and advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid drivers license.
• Candidates must obtain a Notary within 90 days where required; state-specific requirements apply.

• Complete customer paperwork and include thorough notes in the customer tracking system.
• Swiftly address customer questions to ensure a positive experience.

We offer a competitive starting hourly rate of $19/hr with significant growth opportunities based on performance. You can boost your earnings within a short timeframe:

• Pay Range: $19-$21 hourly
• Starting Pay: $19/hr
• At 3 Months: $19.50/hr
• At 6 Months: $20/hr

In your first year, you can progress from $19/hr to $21/hr through our performance-based Careers Not Jobs program, which provides four merit opportunities annually. As part of this program, eligible team members can enjoy an additional $0.50 increase in their pay every 90 days.

About the Role:

We're looking for enthusiastic, energetic, and self-motivated team players with at least 2 years of customer-facing experience to:

• Create an amazing and memorable pick up experience for our customers; you’ll be the face of Carvana when customers come onsite to our Dealership
• Complete customer paperwork and include thorough notes in our customer tracking system
• Swiftly address any customer questions, ensuring a positive and memorable experience.
• Consistently drive safe and maintain a clean driving record in accordance with Carvana's CMV Driver Qualification policy.

* Candidates must have (or be able to obtain) a Notary in your local jurisdiction within the first 90 days of employment (process sponsored by Carvana). * Candidates must be able to satisfy state-specific requirements related to access DMV/title and registration systems.

* California employees must obtain a Vehicle Verifier license within the first 90 days of employment (Process sponsored by Carvana).

* Nevada, Tennessee, and Virginia employees must apply for a Salesperson license within the first two weeks of employment (process sponsored by Carvana). Obtaining this license is a condition of employment; failure to secure it may impact continued employment in this role.

General qualifications and requirements

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks like detailing vehicles and loading/unloading vehicles onto our Vending Machine. You will work in indoor and outdoor conditions with occasional exposure to inclement/extreme weather
• Ability to walk/stand and sustain physical activity for extended periods of time (8+ hours)
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
• Requires high and low levels of movement with the ability to reach with arms, twist, kneel, crouch, climb, balance, and squat
• Requires the grasping, carrying, lifting, pushing, and pulling of items of 50lbs.
• Frequent driving requires excellent visual acuity and manual dexterity. Reasonable accommodations may be granted to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions
