Salary Range : $16.86 - $25.3 Hourly

Job Details

The stated pay range is based on a national-average location. Actual salary is determined by factors including relevant work experience, skills, and location. This position is bonus eligible.

The Customer Activation Representative is responsible for contacting customers to resolve pending requirements on applications, collecting initial and follow-up premium payments in a manner that promotes integrity and customer satisfaction, while being timely, cost-effective and compliant with state regulations and company policies Additionally, the Customer Activation Representative will support the Colonial Penn Concierge Services by fulfilling application correction requests from our sales partners via our mailbox and submission form.

As a Customer Activation Rep., your responsibilities will include:

  • Communicate with customers to follow-up and collect pending requirements, initial & follow up premium payments, which may frequently require re-educating the consumer on the benefits of the policy.

  • Document all actions taken in relevant systems and reschedule calls to meet customer needs as required.

  • Make recommendations for process improvement.

  • Consults with other areas of the company as the work demands (NB/UW, Customer Service)

  • Work with team leadership to take part in special projects and pilot programs

  • Analyze vendor data, provide feedback based on analysis and make outreach to customers

  • Support quality assurance team on call auditing as needed

What you’ll need:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 1-2 years of customer service-oriented work environment.

  • Insurance, financial services and/or call center experience preferred.

What will set you apart:

  • Associate’s degree or 4 years related experience in the field of Business

  • Life & Health Insurance License

  • 3+ years’ experience in customer service-oriented work; insurance, financial services and/or call center experience.
