The hourly range for this position is $12.25 to $13.00. This position is also eligible for incentive pay based on performance.

Customer Accounts Advisor

Aaron's Customer Account Advisors serve as coaches to our customers, driving payment collections and lease agreement renewals by understanding lease agreement benefits and ensuring customer satisfaction. As a Customer Account Advisor, you will build relationships with customers over the phone and face-to-face to help bring them closer to ownership.

Strong multi-tasking, organizational, negotiation, and persuasion skills are necessary. The Work

  • Maintain and update customer accounts and information in the store system.
  • Contact customers who haven't renewed their lease agreements, via home visits or phone.
  • Promote benefits of timely lease payments.
  • Assist the Customer Account Manager in achieving revenue and renewal goals.
  • Help with merchandise returns and guest deliveries as directed.
  • Certify merchandise in the Quality Assurance Center.
  • Complete weekly vehicle maintenance and route sheets.
  • Load, secure, and operate company vehicle safely.
  • Support the Sales Team as needed.
  • Perform any other duties requested by management.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years old in the U.S. with a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record; in Canada, at least 18 years old.
  • Must meet DOT certification requirements in applicable states.
  • Ability to work hours from 8 am to 9 pm.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unaided and up to 300 lbs. with assistance.
  • Retail/customer service experience preferred.
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Energetic and able to multitask effectively.
  • Proper telephone etiquette.
  • Uphold Aaron's brand and protect company assets.
  • Maintain a professional appearance.
  • Proficient in computer skills.
