Customer Accounts Advisor

Hiring Range Minimum to Maximum: $17.50 to $18.50

This position is also eligible for incentive pay based on performance.

Aaron’s Customer Account Advisors serve as coaches to our customers, driving payment collections and lease agreement renewals by understanding lease agreement benefits and ensuring customer satisfaction. As a Customer Account Advisor, you will build relationships with customers over the phone and face-to-face to help bring them closer to ownership.

The Work
  • Maintain and update customer accounts, including recording payment appointments.
  • Contact customers who have not renewed their lease agreements, both in-home and over the phone.
  • Promote the benefits of timely lease agreement renewals.
  • Assist the Customer Account Manager in achieving revenue and renewal goals.
  • Support merchandise returns and guest deliveries as directed.
  • Ensure merchandise is cleaned and certified for returned items.
  • Complete weekly vehicle maintenance and route sheets.
  • Load, secure, and protect products in company vehicles.
  • Operate company vehicles safely.
  • Assist the Sales Team as needed.
  • Perform other duties as requested by management.
Requirements
  • United States: at least 21 years old, valid driver’s license, and compliance with Driver Qualification Policy, including satisfactory MVR. Canada: at least 18 years old.
  • Ability to meet DOT certification requirements in applicable states.
  • Flexible schedule from 8 am to 9 pm.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unaided and up to 300 lbs. with assistance.
  • Retail/customer service experience preferred.
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High energy and ability to multitask effectively.
  • Proper telephone etiquette.
  • Uphold Aaron’s brand and protect company assets.
  • Maintain a professional appearance.
  • Proficient computer skills.
