As a Customer Account Specialist you will be at the center of customer satisfaction for units repaired within the supplier network. You will collaborate with Supply Chain Management, Finance and Technical teams to drive customer service excellence. You are the point of contact for customers and own resolution of issues they may experience during the process. Your work is both tactical and strategic concentrating on the control of components input into the Repair Management Services vendor portfolio. You will use continuous improvement tools and leverage their communications and data analysis expertise to exceed customer expectations.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the Collins Aerospace Repair Management Services (RMS) team . RMS is experiencing rapid growth, with an expanding customer base for time and material, flight hour overhaul, and repair programs.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Drive key operational performance requirements for Repair Management Services (RMS) customers including airline and engine overhaul centers

  • Consistent, complete and accurate communication of account information and delivery commitments to customers and supporting organizations

  • Support accurate order entry/induction of customer orders into SAP

  • Manage customer units upon receipt in facility for same-day shipment to supplier and/or allocation into hospital/quarantine area

  • Follow up on all customer requests in a timely and effective manner

  • Manage daily queues to ensure customer orders are flowing through the repair process seamlessly, while processing quotes and offering exchanges

  • Provide and present quarterly progress reports and business reviews to customers and Fleet Managers

  • Coordinate between Supplier Team and Fleet Management to enable successful delivery performance and ensure 'one voice' to the customer

  • Generate and manage sales orders in SAP including account financials in accordance with contractual obligations

  • Aircraft On the Ground (AOG) support and availability during off business hours as required

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:

  • This role will give you in-depth exposure to the world of aftermarket aviation repairs. Working with all the cross functional teams will allow you to experience and understand the role that each function plays in the business. The skills that this role could teach you are endless , but to list a few: communications, organization, escalation, cross functional, CORE ( continuous improvement tools), Microsoft Suite skills ( excel, ppt, tableau ) , relationship building, account and project management, etc...

QUALIFICATIONS YOU MUST HAVE:

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience.

  • 2+ years of experience in a customer service position.

QUALIFICATIONS WE PREFER:

  • SAP Experience

  • Experience in technical sales, marketing or customer service

  • Experience with customer focus and influence ability

  • Contract management and execution including financial compliance experience

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve operational goals .

  • Problem-solving skills with ability to proactively identify alternate solutions to overcome challenges.

The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
