Job summary

Grill Works Inc. is seeking a skilled woodworker to build wooden vents for HVAC in residential and commercial settings. You will operate rip saws, chop saws, glue presses, CNC, shaper, planer/sander and other power equipment to produce high-quality vents.

The role is full-time, in-person in Minnesota, with a 40-hour week from Monday-Thursday 6:30am-3:30pm and Friday 6:30am-12:30pm, paid major holidays, competitive wages and comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, 401(k) and PTO.

Qualifications

• Reads and interprets blueprints or technical drawings.
• Must possess a valid MN driver’s license.
• Experience operating a molder is preferred but not required.

• Ensure all work is completed accurately and to high quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Build wooden vents for HVAC applications in residential and commercial buildings.
• Operate rip saws, chop saws, glue presses, CNC, shaper, planer/sander and other power equipment
• Ensure all work is completed accurately and to high quality standards

Skills

• Proficient in woodworking techniques, including measuring, cutting, and shaping wood
• Knowledge of different types of wood and their characteristics
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Familiarity with using hand tools and power tools for woodworking
• Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
• Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues during the woodworking process
• Experience operating a molder is preferred but not required

Hours

40 hr. per week permanent position.

• Mon-Thur. 6:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. and Fri 6:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
• Paid major holidays
