The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of technician experience, proficiency with diagnostic equipment, and work well within a family-owned dealership with 70 years of local service history.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of service technician experience.
• Hands-on experience with performance and custom vehicle modifications, including suspension work, engine upgrades, tuning, and accessories.
• B-level qualifications including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair.
• Prior experience at a Ford dealership preferred but not required.
• Proficiency with electronic diagnostic equipment and strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Strong hand-eye coordination and the dexterity required for precision repair work.
• Basic computer competency and the ability to learn new repair procedures and specifications.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform custom vehicle work including suspension modifications, bolt-on accessories, wheel and tire installations, computer tuners, and engine upgrades.
• Diagnose and repair vehicle systems accurately and efficiently per repair order specifications.
• Test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools and specialized service equipment to verify component and system performance.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor on additional service needs and provide accurate time estimates for repairs.
• Execute warranty repairs in compliance with Ford manufacturer specifications.
• Inspect vehicles and document all findings clearly on repair orders.
