Operates commercial equipment for applying fertilizer and herbicides, maintains trucks and equipment, and performs job functions efficiently to enhance customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
  • Applies fertilizers and pesticides to various areas following all regulations and standards, recording application data accordingly.
  • Prepares and operates equipment for blending and delivering products, ensuring proper procedures are followed.
  • Operates sprayers, trucks, and other equipment safely, complying with company and DOT standards.
  • Conducts daily safety checks of vehicles and equipment, including pre-trip inspections.
  • Loads and unloads materials safely onto trucks or trailers, ensuring proper balance and weight distribution.
  • Maintains inventory records and ensures all product documentation is accurate and complete.
  • Performs maintenance and repairs on equipment, vehicles, and structures as needed.
  • Collects and records soil samples following proper procedures.
  • Adheres to the company's Code of Conduct, safety policies, and environmental regulations.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with 0-2 years of related experience.
  • Essential skills include business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision-making, and skill development.
  • Must have or obtain a CDL license with endorsements, a valid medical card, and a clean driving record.
  • Must hold or acquire applicable pesticide or fertilizer licenses in relevant states, renewing as necessary.
  • Ability to work extended hours and on-call as needed.
  • Must be able to work in various weather conditions and handle dust, fumes, chemicals, and electrical hazards safely.
  • Ability to lift 51-70 lbs.
  • Willingness to participate in required training programs.
