Job summary

Integrated DNA Technologies (IDT), a Danaher operating company, is seeking a Custom Quality Analyst II to evaluate products across manufacturing in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO13485. This on-site role in Coralville, IA involves in-process and final QC testing using molecular biology methods and specialized equipment.

The position reports to the Manager of Custom Quality Control and requires a science degree and at least 2 years of lab experience; a Monday–Friday noon–9:00 pm

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a science related field required; or an associate’s degree with 2 years related experience.
• At least 2 years applicable lab experience.
• Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 35 lb (if applicable to role).

The Custom Quality Analyst II is responsible for evaluating products in support of all manufacturing areas within Integrated DNA Technologies in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO13485 requirements. This evaluation involves performing in-process and final QC testing to determine the pass/fail status of products by using a wide variety of molecular biology methods and specialized equipment.

This position reports to the Manager of Custom Quality Control, is part of the Custom Quality Control department located in Coralville, IA and will be an on-site role. Schedule: Monday - Friday, noon to 9:00 pm.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Perform and analyze a variety of QC tests according to Standard Operating Procedures and accurately document results via established product specifications.

• Perform data entry and peer review for accuracy in accordance with lab procedures.

• Perform maintenance and calibration on a variety of specialized equipment and assist in troubleshooting as needed.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Bachelor’s degree in a science related field required. (Biology, Genetics, Chemistry or related life science field preferred); Alternatively, an associate’s degree with 2 years of directly related experience.

• At least 2 years applicable lab experience.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: if applicable for role

• Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 35lb

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• PCR and qPCR

• Next Generation Sequencing

• Enzymatics
