Job Description

As a Custom Protection Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients across industries such as Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, and Government.

Pay Rate: $22.35/hour

Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain a safe environment for staff and youth.
• Ensure effective care, custody, and supervision of youth.
• Maintain public safety and order.
• Use verbal intervention techniques and ensure appropriate response levels.
• Conduct facility inspections and gender-specific contraband searches.
• Photograph youth with JAC Video imaging system and fingerprint youth per FDLE procedures.
• Monitor youth behavior and manage property inventory.
• Ensure safe evacuation procedures and activate emergency services when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Must possess one or more of the following: military law enforcement background, graduation from a public safety academy, degree in law enforcement or criminal justice, or extensive military service.
• Subject to background checks and drug screening.
• Licensing requirements vary by state and may be required prior to employment. Valid driver's license needed for driving roles.
