Job summary

GroupeSTAHL in Michigan is seeking an Order Fulfillment Associate to ensure timely and accurate processing of customer orders. You will work across departments, match orders to materials by style, color and size, and help maintain clean, safe work areas.

The ideal candidate is a high school graduate with strong attention to detail, quality orientation, and willingness to assist others. You must be able to follow written and verbal instructions and to communicate effectively with team members.

Responsibilities

• Rotates between departments as needed and maintains good communication with staff.
• Assists coworkers and keeps management informed of area activities and concerns.
• Ensures assembly functions comply with company policies and procedures and meets deadlines.

What you'll be doing:

Responsible for the timely and qualitative completion of basic order fulfillment. Ensures that assigned order fulfillment functions are conducted in accordance with established policies and procedures, that quality and productivity standards are met or exceeded, and that related documentation is accurate and complete.

• Assumes responsibility for the accurate and timely completion of order fulfillment functions.
• Fills customer orders matching written/printed order to materials in terms of style, color and size.
• Flexibility to rotate between departments and jobs on an as-needed basis.
• Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining good communications, coordination, and working relations with Company personnel and management.
• Assists and supports other coworkers as needed.
• Keeps management informed of area activities and of any significant concerns. Identifies problems and provides suggestions
• Assumes responsibility for ensuring that assembly functions are completed in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
• Meets deadlines.
• Inspects work upon completion.
• Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned.
• Ensures that work area is clean, secure and well maintained.
• Completes special projects as needed.
• Packages products as assigned.
