Gilder Search Group is recruiting for a Custom Fabricator / Machine Builder in the Greater Cleveland area. The role focuses on turning raw steel into precise, one-off assemblies and requires strong TIG welding on stainless steel, along with hydraulic system maintenance and electrical panel wiring.

You will read blueprints, fabricate components, and collaborate with engineering to meet exact specifications, working in a standard industrial manufacturing environment on 1st shift.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with TIG welding on stainless steel.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Experience building, rebuilding or maintaining hydraulic systems.
• Skilled in fabricating custom machinery and assemblies.
• Capable of wiring electrical panels for industrial systems.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate custom components and build complex machinery from raw materials.
• Perform high-quality TIG welding on stainless steel components.
• Wire and assemble electrical panels for industrial systems.
• Maintain and repair hydraulics and hydraulic machinery.
• Interpret blueprints and ensure dimensional accuracy of finished parts.
• Operate shop tools and equipment and keep a clean, safe workspace.
• Collaborate with engineering to ensure accuracy of assemblies.
