Gates Unlimited is seeking a skilled Woodworker / Carpenter / Fabricator to join our workshop in Poway, CA. You will build custom garage doors and gates from raw materials guided by detailed plans, employing a hands-on approach that emphasizes precision and craftsmanship.

As part of the fabrication team, you will read drawings, operate woodworking machinery, perform trim and assembly work, and coordinate with design and installation to deliver top-quality results.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of woodworking, carpentry, or fabrication experience.
• Experience with custom door or gate building preferred.
• Skilled with hand tools, power tools, and woodshop equipment.

Responsibilities

• Construct custom wood and composite garage doors and gates from start to finish.
• Read and interpret detailed shop drawings and blueprints.
• Use a variety of woodworking tools and machinery (saws, planers, jointers, sanders, etc.).
• Perform custom trim, joinery, and assembly work.
• Collaborate with the design and installation teams to ensure high-quality results.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
