The Michaels Companies Portage store is seeking a Part Time Custom Framer to assist customers in creating tailored framing solutions. You will contribute to a welcoming, well‑merchandised shop, process framing orders accurately, and support in-store sales and omni‑channel tasks.

The role requires basic computer and measuring skills, the ability to operate framing equipment and glass cutter, and a retail mindset to deliver friendly customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Basic computer literacy and measuring skills required.
• Ability to operate framing equipment and glass cutter.
• Retail or sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build custom framing solutions for customers.
• Complete framing orders with quality and on-time delivery.
• Maintain ready-made frame department and replenishment tasks.
• Operate cash register and handle cash to standards.
• Provide friendly, helpful service and assist omni-channel processes.
• Follow SOPs, company programs, shrink and safety guidelines.
