Job summary

Michaels in Greenville, NC is seeking a Framing Department Associate to help customers create custom framing solutions and deliver an exceptional shopping experience. You will complete framing orders on time, operate the cash register, stock and maintain the frame department, support omni-channel processes, and follow SOPs and safety programs.

Applicants should have basic computer and measuring skills, ability to use framing equipment and glass cutter, and retail experience.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and basic measuring skills.
• Ability to operate the framing equipment and glass cutter.
• Retail experience preferred.
• Experience selling products and/or services to customers.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to SOPs and company programs.
• Deliver friendly customer service and help customers find frames and solutions.
• Complete framing orders with quality and on time.
• Maintain the framing department and stock levels.
• Assist with Omni channel processes and cash handling.
• Follow safety and shrink programs.
• Interact with customers in a respectful manner.
• Participate in truck unload and stocking.
• Other duties as assigned.
