Custom Electronics Technician

The Custom Electronics Technician will meet customer demand
for custom electronic solutions and support production with wheelchair specific
software/programing demands.

Key Tasks

• Create, test, and verify software programs used in Permobil products.
  
• Global communication with design software and quality engineers.
  
• Customizes electronic components.
  
• Fabricates parts, cables, and test fixtures.
  
• Perform trouble shooting and repair of electronics issues found in production.
  
• Electronic & mechanical assembly for suitable installation on to product.
  
• May be required to write electronic test procedures to be used by others.

Your Background

• Electronics certification or degree, strong
  computer/software experience preferred
• Experienced with software solutions and programing.
  
• Experienced performing trouble shooting and repair of electronic components.
  
• Excellent soldering skills.
  
• Have solid computer & typing skills and be able to use Microsoft Windows, Internet Explorer, Excel, & Word.
  
• Be well organized and able to multi-task.
  
• Have good verbal and written communications skills.
  
• Be able to read and understand technical drawings, datasheets, wiring diagrams and written work instructions.
  
• Be able to apply knowledge and skills in a team-oriented environment
