Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in woodworking, fabrication, assembly, or custom crating is preferred.
• Experience reading and interpreting production drawings or technical instructions is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and fastening/joining techniques.
• Basic understanding of material handling and safe lifting practices.
• Ability to work independently or in a team to meet schedules and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and construct crates using high-quality materials to ensure durability and safety.
• Collaborate with team members to plan and meet delivery deadlines.
• Use hand and power tools to build crates with precision and attention to detail.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace following safety protocols.
• Inspect materials and finished crates for design and quality compliance.
• Suggest improvements to crate designs and building processes to improve efficiency.
