Lawn Doctor is seeking a dependable Fall Customer Care Lawn Technician for the fall season in Illinois. No lawn care experience is required as on-the-job training will cover operating an aerator, seeding, and fertilizer application.
The role emphasizes customer service, safety, and working outdoors to service properties with core aeration and overseeding, followed by late-season tasks. Transportation and a strong work ethic are valued assets.
Lawn Doctor is looking for a dependable, hardworking Fall Customer Care Lawn Technician to join our team for the fall season.
This is a hands‑on outdoor position focused primarily on core aeration and seeding, followed by late‑season and winterization fertilizer applications.
You do not need lawn care experience.
We can teach you how to operate an aerator, seed a lawn, and properly apply fertilizer.
We’re looking for someone who shows up, works hard, takes pride in doing the job correctly, treats customers and their property with respect, and is willing to learn.
If you have lawn care experience, great. If you’ve never worked on a lawn professionally but you’re dependable, coachable, hardworking, and good with people, we want to hear from you.
We’d rather train a great person how to care for lawns than try to teach an experienced technician how to care about our customers.
When you pull into a customer’s driveway wearing a Lawn Doctor uniform, you represent our entire company.
Customers will have questions and sometimes concerns. We expect you to stop, listen, communicate professionally, and treat them with respect.
You aren’t expected to know every answer. You’re expected to care enough to find one.
A great-looking lawn is important. A customer who trusts the person caring for their property is just as important.
Previous lawn care, landscaping, equipment operation, or customer service experience is helpful, but not required.
Fall is busy and the work is physical, but we’ll provide hands‑on training and teach you our equipment, services, safety procedures, and expectations.
We’re not looking for someone to simply get through a list of lawns. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, takes care of their customers, helps their teammates, and represents Lawn Doctor professionally.
