Production Manager - Custom Cabinetry & Millwork Fabrication Village Handcrafted Cabinetry - Lansdale, PA Full-Time | On-Site | Custom Cabinetry | Millwork | Woodworking

Village Handcrafted Cabinetry has specialized in building premium, custom cabinetry and millwork for over 30 years. We are seeking an experienced Production Manager with a strong background in custom cabinetry, woodworking, or carpentry to lead our fabrication and build teams. This is a hands-on leadership role managing skilled tradespeople producing high-end residential and commercial cabinetry.

Custom cabinetry or millwork experience is required to be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations of custom cabinetry, woodworking, and millwork production
  • Supervise fabrication teams building face frames, cabinet boxes, doors, and architectural millwork
  • Ensure all products meet precise quality and craftsmanship standards
  • Lead, train, and develop skilled woodworkers, cabinetmakers, and assemblers
  • Oversee scheduling, job assignments, inventory, and workflow to meet project deadlines
  • Maintain safe, efficient operation of woodworking machinery and CNC equipment
  • Review and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and customer specifications
  • Collaborate daily with Engineering, Purchasing, Scheduling, and Leadership teams
  • Conduct performance reviews, coach employees, and implement corrective actions when needed
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production environment

Required Experience:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in custom cabinetry, millwork fabrication, or carpentry
  • 2+ years of experience supervising or managing skilled woodworkers or cabinetmakers
  • Strong knowledge of cabinet construction methods, joinery, woodworking equipment, and shop processes
  • Ability to read shop drawings, architectural drawings, and fabrication plans
  • Experience with CNC equipment, Cabinet Vision, or similar cabinet/millwork software is a plus
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is helpful but not required

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED (required); technical or trade school in woodworking/cabinetry (preferred)
  • OSHA 10 or 30 Certification (preferred)
  • Forklift certification (a plus)
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
