Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a Custom Cabinet Maker with experience in architectural millwork to join our fabrication team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about woodworking, detail-oriented, and skilled in producing high-quality custom cabinetry from shop drawings.
Key Responsibilities:
• Fabricate custom cabinets, and specialty millwork components according to detailed shop drawings and specifications.
• Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools with precision and care.
• Laminate, edge-band, and assemble parts using dowels, screws, glue, and fasteners.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure fit, finish, and craftsmanship meet company standards.
• Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and installers to solve fabrication challenges.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all safety policies and procedures.
Requirements:
• 3+ years of experience in architectural millwork or custom cabinetmaking.
• Strong knowledge of wood species, laminates, veneers, and cabinet hardware.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Skilled in the use of standard woodworking tools, equipment, and machinery.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to craftsmanship.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Familiarity with AWI standards.
