Job summary

Landscape Structures is seeking a Custom Assembler in Delano, MN to assemble complex parts that can’t be completed in the field. You will work on an early morning shift, Monday through Friday, and adapt to schedule changes as needed to meet business requirements.

The role emphasizes accuracy, attention to detail, and teamwork. Experience reading prints and basic computer skills help ensure quality assembly and on-time delivery of parts.

Responsibilities

• Verify parts to their assembly instructions and print
• Check every part for the physical defect
• Identify the defective part for rework

• Take part in monthly presentations and continuous improvement efforts

POSITION SUMMARY

The essence of the role of the Custom Assembler is to assemble any parts that are too complex to be assembled in the field. High-performing, creative, and flexible team member who is willing to work with less structure and is willing to change the schedule as needed to execute to the requirements of the business and utilize available equipment resources.

Hours: M-F, 5:00 A.M. - 1:30 P.M.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Verify parts to their assembly instructions and print
• Check every part for the physical defect
• Identify the defective part for rework
• Package parts to ship without damage
• Check the correct quantities of all work orders
• Will correctly key and label parts
• Take part in monthly presentations and continuous improvement efforts

The target hourly range is $20.00 - $25.00, depending upon qualifications and experience. The posted pay range reflects the expected compensation for a fully qualified candidate. Starting pay may be above or below this range based on job-related factors such as skills, experience, qualifications, and training needs.

In addition to hourly pay, the compensation package also includes eligibility for profit-sharing and monthly bonus opportunity. Additionally, for eligible full-time employees, we offer a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability benefits; paid time off and paid holidays; 401(k) retirement plan and employee stock ownership plan.
